Graduated with M.B.,B.S. degree from Shanghai Medical College in 1982. Subsequently received M.D. degree from graduate school in Shanghai Medical University in 1989. Has done postdoctoral research in pediatrics in the Buffalo Children’s Hospital, Buffalo, New York, USA from 1994-1995. Currently holding the position of professor and vice-head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Children’s Hospital, Medical College, Fudan University. Promoted as the advisor to Master’s postgraduates in 1997 and consequently advisor to PhD postgraduates in 1998. Besides being a member of the division of Pediatric Surgery, Chinese Medical Association, is also a member of the editorial board, Journal of Pediatric Surgery, Chinese Medical Association. Main field of clinical and research work include pediatric general surgery and neonatal surgery. Has published more than 40 papers. Has also made contributions to the editing of “Clinical Pediatric Surgery”, “Surgical Methods of Pediatric Surgery”, “Neonatal Surgery”, “Practical Internal Medicine”, etc.
