Medical expertise:
Dr. Xu specializes in diagnosing and managing ASD, global developmental delay, intellectual disabilities, and speech and language disorders, as well as rare diseases such as Fragile X Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Helsmoortel-VanDerAa Syndrome, and more. She also provides growth monitoring, nutritional counseling, and feeding guidance for typically developing children.

Dr. Xu specializes in the early detection and intervention of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in both community and hospital settings. With over 20 years of experience, she has mentored and supported families of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, guiding them through treatment and care. She is the first ESDM trainer in mainland China. She is also a principal investigator in cutting-edge research, leading several national, provincial, and international collaborative projects. She has authored over 50 publications in high-impact scientific journals and has been recognized multiple times as an outstanding teacher by the Department of Pediatrics at Fudan University.
